Review: P.S.: I Love You

The film is based on the Irish writter Cecelia Ahern's romantic novel of the same name. The film stars Hilar Swank and Gerad Butler.

Set in New York City mostly. The film tell us the story of Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) a young woman whose husband dies from brain cancer. She is completely devastated and her family and friends don't know how cheer her up. Then, one day, she begins to receive love letters from Gerry (gerad Butler), her husband, had written before dying.

The letter are filled with various stories and instructions, and one of them even sends her on a trip to Ireland where Holly had met Gerry for the first time. Slowly, she begins to piece her life back together. His letters help her to celebrate their love and move on.

I find the plot entirely believable and gripping with a very natural dialogue and life-like characters.

I would strongly advice you not to miss P.S.: I Love You. It's a ver touching a romantic film which shows the struggle for getting over the pain of losing someone you love with all your heart.
